Our Process
At PaperTerra, we take pride in offering a personalized experience for each and every one of our clients. From the initial consultation to the final product, we'll work closely with you to ensure that every detail is perfect. Our process includes a design consultation, custom design concepts, revisions, and final production. We'll keep you informed every step of the way, so you can relax and enjoy the journey.
01.
CONSULTATION - QUOTE - DEPOSIT
Begin your experience with PaperTerra by filling out our Inquiry Form so we can better understand your stationery needs
Please provide as many details as you can to help us understand your vision.

​We will create a custom quote with our ideas that we can review together and address any questions you may have in an in-studio consultation or by email.
Once you’re happy with the proposal, we require a signed agreement and a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your spot.
(Note: you can still change your service level, card quantities, paper type, and embellishments later in the process.)
02.
DESIGN
​Once we receive your contract and deposit, and with your vision fully in frame, I will draw your venue illustration or custom art, if you choose this as part of your collection, and design your entire invitation suite. At the conclusion of the design process, we will send you your design proofs / digital mock-ups within approximately seven days for any feedback! You will be invited to request your desired changes, at which point I will revise accordingly and request your approval before moving forward into production.
03.
PRODUCTION
Once you have fully signed off on your invitation suite, the remaining balance is due and we begin the production process by ordering all the supplies and sending your files to the printer.
This can take two to four weeks depending on the design of the suite.
04.
ASSEMBLY & MAILING/PICK-UP
When production is finished, everything will be ready for pickup or mailed out to you ready to assemble.
If you’ve selected a full-service invitation suite, we will assemble and mail every one of your invitations with care. That means you won’t have to do a thing—simply enjoy our white-glove service and allow me to do the legwork of sending out all of your invitations!
PRICE GUIDE
We offer a range of packages to suit your needs and budget, from simple save-the-dates to full invitation suites and day-of stationery.
Our pricing is structured based on the amount of custom illustration that is applied to each stationery piece, as well as the materials,
and finishes that are selected. Each project can be designed to fit the specific budget set by You.
The minimum order quantity is 25 with the exception of signage, seating plans, table numbers, and menus.
After that, we accept orders in increments of 5 for Canadian and US orders and 25 for international orders.

We are offering virtual and in-person consultations only for custom stationery.
For the A la Carte Paperie pre-designed collection our designer/client communication is exclusively via email.

With this option, we begin with an existing design you've seen on our A la Carte Paperie website. Each design in this collection features beautiful watercolour illustrations of the most romantic wedding venues from around the world and can be personalized with your unique wording. Please note that illustrative changes, whether in form or color, are not included.
Guest and return addressing, extra inserts, bookmarks, upgrade envelopes, vellum prints or vellum wraps, envelope liners, ribbons, and postage are extra - please include all your needs on the Inquiry Form for a detailed quote.
